Medicine; the new death sentence

Where have the people who care for you gone??? Gone the way of  hospitality! I have been in and out of hospitals for 5 years and met good nurses, great nurse and effed up nurses. I have been so disillusioned I have thought of going to law school and just suing medical institutions, Dr's. and nurses...But really that is not the problem...It is the hospital corp. Coveyer belt medicine, get em in get em out. So sad but boy do they send you a bill expedited!!!!!.

    Ask Ask Ask,  that is your job as a patient. why what,who,what are the side effects and so on...it is your life and Dr and nurses DO kill thousands of pt's a year.. Mine almost did....
   If you need a nurse to help you, guide you, answer your questions, or just hold your hand...Call me...I will sit with you.and your family and ne your go between inthis confusing myriad medical jargon.

                                  The Good The bad The truth about living in Horry County

    I am starting, (or I am trying to), start a local "Face Bookie type” Blog- Atmosphere for us... the great people of Horry County... not for Pittsburgh, or Boston, or Connecticut or Long Island, but for you and I.. The Great ...That's right ...I said great!!! The Myrtlebeachonians, Surfsideits, Carolina Foresters, Murrells Inletians- etc. etc. You Know; the ones who pay most of the taxes, sit in our cars for hours drinking outrageously priced coffee; behind dumb, (I mean thoughtless misguided), tourists while we are going to our underpaid thankless jobs.

    We live, we eat, we shop, we buy cars, groceries and go to movies and to hospitals and Dr's offices...BUT no one actually tells you which things are good, (I know you tell your family and maybe a co-workers?), but really how many of you know who gives the best care, who has the best deals the best prices, the best whatever? 

       Where IS food that is great, (not those feed bag sea-food buffets), but restaurants to go

   To… or stay away from. What hospital is best and so on? (Sorry this is Just for Horry County). No one in Belgium needs to know our McDonalds suck...

    I also want to start a site where people, (tourists), who are coming to this area, (I mean they are our bread and butter), this way; they can observe from our site where to stay, eat, drink and have fun. They need to know good places and affordable and just for tourists. (and where we won’t and don’t go), also they will need a list of  what entertainment which proffered here,( not just the outrageously priced neo-country-goth shows)....I want to know what eatery is really really good and not for the tourist. Something….sometimes…. things, should be…. just for us....You know a real good burger place? There is none. There are okay burger places but none like the ones on "Man vs. Food"!

     Join me and lets tell "face Book", to shove off... well we can still have FB and check our friend count for the week if need be...LOL, but seriously...someone help me start a homepage built just for Horry County. I need tech support!

    We could also have a section concerning local government and convey your sentiments about the town counsel and your local leaders and their misguided rhetoric or whatever you like. Wouldn’t you like to know where your taxes disappear? I want to share my great experiences where I eat, a nice motel, a good Dr and pleasant hospital stay? I surely would. Please spread the word and keep this going...WE can name it ...You can Help me name it!!!! We could call it...Hmmmm? "The Good The Bad and the Truth about Myrtle Beach"....

    Oh before I go...."Ned’s" a burger place in Aynor used to be an awesome, fat filled, artery clogging, and yummy burger joint...Don’t know about now...haven’t been lately…I don’t even know where to purchase a real Apple Fritter???! Do You? Help me get this going Horry County.

The Return of Live Music

    Being a musician....an ole musician...I am tired of not seeing new talent except that crap on TV. and they are not really talented...they just sing on key and look the part....
    I am going to find a venue to play my act, ask for donations, and maybe we the citizens can open a venue that demonstrates local talent... I will start It and have MB finish it.
   Please help me...I do not need your money just your time and sweat. I will ask that the vets.moms of vets, and of course me since my son is in the army and going for his third tour.
  The reason venues have stopped using musicians is complicated but basically it is money...Back in the day 1980....I made over 1000.00 a night and that was playing in local clubs up and down the east coast. I was in a band that opened for Charlie Daniels and Nantucket....Remember me/ Thought not. Not much to remember...

   So come on MB lets bring the Beach Vibe back to the beach!!!!! 
PS I do not hate Karaoke just sick of it!!!!
